Visual storytelling that celebrates biocultural heritage and environmental stewardship

Food has always been central to my life and practice. I grew up learning in kitchens—watching my grandmothers make tortillas on the comal, cooking alongside my family, and engaging creatively with plants and land. These early experiences shaped my understanding of food as a site of memory, care, resistance, and connection. Over time, my artistic practice—especially printmaking—has become a way to translate this knowledge into visual storytelling that centers lived experience and collective strength.
